I don't know guys. I'd rather play AND1 rather than NBA. Don't blame me, I just don't like how people usually do it the formal way. Freesttyle/streetball is the way! And as we all know, AND1 supports this game concept. They make vast amount of products specially for basketballers who want to go freestyle.
They recently released their trio type shoes which I would like to share with you guys, which one is my obsession currently! It's Lo-Qi Downtime! They have 4 colours but if you are like me, you would choose the one which has the most furious colour of all, red. Yup, that one, SEXY!
I just love how the colour blends well with the design of the shoe and that 'bendable'-like footprint for maximum sole movement. Most of all, it's low top. If you do realise something about basketball shoes, low tops look much better rather than high tops that we can always find at courts. Nevertheless, it's up to the person's preference whether he/she puts look or comfortability as the main option!
They come in blue too, and other 2 colours, but look at this,
They both look nice, seriously, but I prefer red! What's your preference? :)

Slip And Slide
Okay now back to streetball basics! This move is called Slip And Slide. I think you can see people diong this move in every streetball matches. It's easy, it's pretty straight forward. The only difficult thing that you have to do is just to balance yourself. I'm not going to explain in words anymore. I'll put a video tutorial for you to refer to, much easier. So here it is, Slip And Slide!

Intensify Your Focus On The Rim (Part 2)
It really is not that hard for you to aim your shoot. The only thing that prevents you to do so is how you do it. So basically the main thing that you have to get right first is your hand movement, in other words, how you release the ball, but that's not the thing that I'm gonna talk about today! It's how you implement your total focus on the rim!
Alright, it's very easy for you to do so, and it really is practical but you'll have to practice it a few times, 5 times would be enough. Don't believe me? Try these out.
Alright, it's very easy for you to do so, and it really is practical but you'll have to practice it a few times, 5 times would be enough. Don't believe me? Try these out.
- Whether you're shooting from far or dribbling towards the rim, take a look at the rim.
- Don't ever shift your focus other than to the ring itself.
- Okay this part is a little bit tricky, it's what I do (which always work). Start by putting deep focus on the rim. You can actually feel this. you'll get that feeling of getting sucked into total focus or some shit, seriously. To do this, you'll have to stop breathing (that's right), put your total focus, and release it (at the same time, exhale).
- Release the ball (shoot the ball) once you release your focus.
- Keep an eye and move for a rebound (just in case).
It works for me all the time. You'll be surprised, seriously, just have to put this to your practice daily, and you'll get the hang of it!
Nikebasketball
Nope, the title isn't a typo at all. It is spelled that way, created by Nike itself, to promote and nurture the sport into current and future basketball athletes. Nike has a big role in injecting world spirits into basketball. This particular sport is one of the world's major world economy contributors. People make money out of basketball, but most importantly, the community that exists based solely of this sport.
Lebron James, the number one basketballer in the world, is getting old. This is what he said in one of his interviews (well, kind of), "Who's gonna replace me by tomorrow?". This question goes along to the other world leaders. Who's gonna replace them? Me? You? We know we all have the potential, we can always make it to that point, we have to be strong and persevere always. Obstacles are always coming, it's life, it's how it works.
So enough of my lecture, Nike is currently doing their very best to promote the sport to the people around the world. Basketball is never lost, it is never a myth, a legend, no, neither a trend. So here's an awe-inspiring video from them that highlights the current and future world successors in basketball. Feels like going to the court now aye?
