The Basic Fundamentals Of Basketball

I was reading an article about 'The Basics Of Basketball' just now from http://www.breakthroughbasketball.com/basics/basics.html and I can see how much did the author stressed on learning and practicing the basic fundamentals of basketball.He claimed that these fundamentals include the little things in basketball that will make us play better.In a nutshell,I agree with that.Most people tend to play basketball without paying attention to these fundamentals.What are these so-called fundamentals anyway?Mainly,they are;
1)Shooting
2)Passing
3)Dribbling
4)Rebounding
5)Defense
6)Offense
7)Screens
8)Fouls
9)Lay ups

Quite a lot eyh?No wonder many basketball players (bballers) neglect these small things since they're more excited in getting involved with the game without knowing these fundamentals.Basically,these are the things that will make you play better.

P/S:Note that I am not a professional basketball player myself but I am improving at the same time.My purpose for building this blog is to share everything I know about basketball and build a community of 'Bballers' from all stages whether they're newbies,amateurs or pros.Do inform me if some of the info that I post in here are wrong.I will try my best to share everything about basketball,correctively.See you later!:D

The Introduction

As an intro for this new blog,I'm just going to put out small views of the upcoming posts that will be included in here.Generally,I will be talking about basketball-my prime hobby.I started playing basketball when I was in form 2 (Malaysia).Well,not really.I was 'introduced' to basketball when I was in primary school,standard 5 I think.Then,I shifted to a boarding school far away from my house in another state/province.It was 1 year later until I'm reach 14 that I started to become 'a lil bit' serious with basketball.It was a coincidence when suddenly a basketball court was built at the park in front of my house (a project that finished for 2 months which I thought they were building futsal court).That's when my interest in basketball grew.So up to date,I've been playing basketball nearly for 4 years now but still,I,myself,admit,that I'm still not 'keng' or professional in this arena.My skills and knowledge in basketball are still very limited but improving at the same time.One thing about me is I am renowned with my 'one hand shoot' whether it's a 3-point or further.I'll post videos of me playing basketball in here too later on.Go Lakers!
